Branding

Your invoice is often the last thing a client sees before they pay you, so it should look like your business, not ours. Upload your logo, pick a theme, and your invoices carry your brand.

Your logo, your look

Your logo is free on every plan, and it’s the first thing to set up. Go to Organization Settings → Branding and upload it.

  • Formats: PNG, JPG, WebP, or SVG.
  • Size: keep the file under 512 KB.
  • Shape: a square image around 500 by 500 pixels looks best, since that’s the space it sits in.

Once it’s saved, it’s used everywhere your branding appears, with nothing else to switch on.

Your invoice theme

You can also choose how the whole invoice looks. Choosing a theme comes with the paid plans; on the free plan, invoices use the Clean theme. From Organization Settings → Branding, pick one of four:

  • Clean: simple and uncluttered, the default.
  • Classic: a more traditional, formal invoice.
  • Modern: a lighter, contemporary style.
  • Wrenbase: our own styled theme, and the one that lets you set a background tint.

Whatever you pick applies to every invoice, quote, and payment request you send, so your documents stay consistent.

The Wrenbase theme adds a soft background tint: pick from White, Sage, Sky, Sand, Peach, or Lilac. It’s a gentle wash behind the invoice, not a bold color, so your details stay easy to read.

Where your branding shows up

Your logo and theme carry through to the documents your client actually sees:

  • The invoice page your client opens from the email
  • The PDF version of the invoice
  • The pay page, where your logo and business name head the invoice
  • Your Invoice Me page, so vendors see your business when they submit a bill
A note on emails

Notification emails come from Wrenbase and carry the Wrenbase name, so clients can tell they’re genuine. They reply back to your contact email and note they were sent on behalf of your business, so a client always knows who to reach. Your logo lives on the invoice and pay page, which is what your client is really looking at.
