Invoice Inbox

One place for the bills you receive. When a business sends you an invoice, a quote, or a payment request, it lands in your inbox, where you can pay it, mark it paid, or just keep it on record.

For the bills addressed to you

Who the inbox is for

The Invoice Inbox is for receiving, not sending. If you’re an individual or a small operation that mostly gets billed, this is your side of Wrenbase: the invoices from every business you deal with, together in one place, searchable whenever you need them.

It’s separate from the sending side of Wrenbase that businesses use to create invoices. You don’t need any of that to receive and pay what comes in.

What lands in your inbox

Your inbox holds the documents businesses send you, sorted so each kind is easy to find:

  • Invoices: bills you owe.
  • Payment requests: one-off charges, like a deposit.
  • Quotes: a price offered before work starts, which you can accept or decline.

Each stays on record after it’s handled, so you always have the history.

What you can do with an invoice

Open an invoice and you have a few choices, depending on what you want to do:

  • Pay it online, when the sender accepts online payment.
  • Mark it paid, if you paid another way like a bank transfer or a check, so your record stays accurate.
  • Schedule it, to note that payment is lined up.
  • Ask for a change, if something on it looks wrong.
  • Dispute or decline it, if you don’t think you owe it.

The sender sees where things stand from their side too, so you both stay on the same page without back-and-forth emails.

Keeping track

Payment Activity gives you a running record of what you’ve paid and when, across every business. Everything in your inbox is searchable, so a bill from months ago is easy to find.

If you deal with more than one business on Wrenbase, you can add each one from Add a business, and their invoices all flow into the same inbox.
